FX6 outer filter perfect for larger aquariums up to 1500L. Advanced microchip technology monitors and optimizes pump performance and the click-fit fastening system minimizes leakage from the aqua-stop valves. Equipped with rubber feet to ensure quiet operation. The filter uses multi-stage filtration and is made up of removable, stackable media baskets that eliminate water switching. Water changes are easy by attaching a stem to the outlet (Kit sold separately) and the pump does the rest. The FX6 is also self-priming, just add water, plug in and the pump takes over. Trapped air is auto-evacuated every 12 hours to ensure maximum efficiency
